"I have a confession to make, the first time I saw you, hindi kita gusto. Parang may nagsasabi na isa kang malaking sakit sa ulo."

"Naniniwala ako na kung may gusto kang sabihin, dapat sabihin mo na."

"Happy Valentine's day sir! Next year, happy anniversary na yan ha."

"Sana balang araw ma-realize mo na I deserve this kind of love."

"But I also have to admit that even then, you have something special in you. You have that spirit."

"Sir please. You belong to me."

"If you insist, how can I resist?"

"Lalo mo akong pinahanga nung pinakita mo ang mundo mo. You are by far the bravest girl I've ever met."

"Sabi nga nila diba give love on Christmas day sir so give me love sir. Pero kung wala talaga, how do I unlove you?"

"Para sa akin, you don't need to look like Mama Mary for me to fall in love with you. I don't want to unlove you because I love you."

"More than three years and I thought we were good. Hindi ko lang alam kung bakit, kung pano, kung pano nag-simula. Ano ang nangyari sa ating dalawa?"

"I will do everything it takes to bring you back. I will never lose hope that we will have our second chance."

"Yun yung operative word. Tapos na yun. The end."

"There was a time pala na sabi niya na muntik na niya tayong balikan pero natatakot daw siya na hindi na natin siya tanggapin."

"I've always love how food preserves a memory."

"Bakit nga ba? Kasi ang tanga tanga mo. Apat na taon, wala ka man lang ginawa. Hindi mo man lang tinawagan. Hindi mo man lang sinulatan. Ma-pride ka kasi. Ang yabang mo!"

"Ang bagal mo kasi. Naunahan ka na. May iba na. May iba na."

"Kailangan na kitang idelete sa buhay ko."

"But that's it diba? She's just your ex."

"What you don't know won't hurt you."

"Ayoko matulad sa mga magulang ko na hindi nagkabalikan dahil lang sa pride."

"It's complicated. It's a recipe for disaster."

"No worries my friend. From now on, PSP. Past is past."

"Kung talagang mahal mo ako, dapat sinundan mo ako."
"Kung talagang mahal mo ako, dapat hindi mo ako iniwan."
"And I regret that everyday."
"Are you flirting with me?"
"Do you want me to?"

"Do we still have a second chance? Naniniwala ka rin ba na our love story deserves a better ending?"

"I deserve an explanation. I need an acceptable reason."
...
"Dahil trinabaho ko yun. Dahil pinagpuyatan ko yan. I invested my time."

"Kailangan mong mahalam kung bakit isang umaga, nagbago ang lahat. Bakit wala na siya. Bakit mag-isa ka nalang. Kailangan mo ng dahilan diba?"

"Anong karapatan mong hingin ang isang bagay na pinagdamot mong ibigay? I deserved an explanation. I deserved an acceptable reason."

"I almost died and everyday, I wish I'm dead."

"I was beginning to see my father in you.

Lason yan. Parang drugs na nakaka-adik."

"Kung wala kasi nun, ang sakit. Sobrang sakit."

"Adik ka na naman sa pag-asa eh. Try mo na kaya lumaklak ng realidad?"

"Marco, there are three words I've been wanting to say to you for five years. I am sorry. I'm sorry dahil hindi ko kinaya na sabihin sa'yo ang totoo. Im sorry dahil iniwan kita. I'm sorry na nasaktan kita. I'm sorry kasi natakot ako. Im sorry for giving up on us."

"Sorry din kasi hindi ko nakita ang mga takot mo. Tsaka mga pangangailangan mo."
"Marco, what if ready na ko sa buhay na gusto mo? Ready na ako Marco. Ready na ako for you."

"I loved him first."
"And you let go of your chance."

"I saw it his eyes. I felt it when he touched me."

"Ours began in a most unexciting way, as friends. Now, our love may be quiet and boring but it is sure. With the right amount of trust and love, and even an allowance for mistake. I love him Ginny and in love, there is no fear."

"I was willing to wait... Kaya lang napagod ako. Napagod ang puso ko na maghintay, magtanong, magalit."

"Closure."
"Para maging buo tayo ulit."

No wonder, the over 3 million trailer views and the positive reviews of viewers translated to its immense success.

Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga Grace US Premiere of Starting Over Again

Posted on February 14, 2014 | 6:00 PM

Fresh from a recent Manila premiere that was packed with fans and a record-breaking opening day gross of P25 million, the Philippines’s “Ultimate Heartthrob” Piolo Pascual and actress-singer-host Toni Gonzaga, one of the hottest female triple threats in Philippine showbiz today, will fly almost 8,000 miles to meet their fans in the San Francisco Bay Area for the U.S. premiere of the romantic comedy, Starting Over Again.

Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga Grace US Premiere of Starting Over Again

The premiere, a Valentine’s Day offering from ABS-CBN Star Cinema and TFC@TheMovies, is set for February 15, Saturday, with 1:00pm and 6:30pm screenings at historic Fox Theatre in Redwood City.

Starting Over Again has generated huge buzz because of the chemistry of the two lead stars and the numerous positive reviews by critics, bloggers and fans who are raving over the brilliantly directed movie by the award-winning Olivia M. Lamasan, director of international Filipino blockbuster films from Star Cinema like Milan, In My Life, In the Name of Love and The Mistress, to name a few.  The screenplay was by Carmi Raymundo who wrote the recent Kim Chiu-Xian Lim blockbuster, Bride for Rent and other hits like My Amnesia Girl and It Takes A Man and a Woman.

“It’s been a while since we’ve held a movie premiere here in the U.S. and we thought that bringing the much anticipated first big screen collaboration of two of the industry’s biggest stars, one of the most successful Filipina directors of all time, and one screenwriter who has been on a blockbuster roll would make for an exciting Valentine’s Day gift to thousands of fans who want to see the movie plus Piolo and Toni in person,” said John-D Lazatin, ABS-CBN Global Head of Theatricals.

Indeed, there are great expectations for Starting Over Again from the four stellar heavyweights but they deliver in this movie.  Toni plays Ginny – bubbly, brilliant and driven – who, as a student in Architecture romantically pursues Marco (Piolo), a professor.  Eyebrows may be raised but the two genuinely fall in love, until one day, Ginny left for no apparent reason, breaking Marco’s heart into a thousand pieces.  Years later, their paths cross again: Ginny has the successful career that she dreamed of while Marco is now a chef… with a new ladylove in Patty (played by the exquisite Iza Calzado).  Seems like they are all happy.  But wait… Ginny wants Marco back. The journey of second chances begin with Ginny chasing Marco again.  But will this have a happy ending or will it end again in heartbreak?

Joining Piolo, Toni and Iza in this not-your-usual romantic comedy are young but amazing talents Joross Gamboa, Bryan Santos, Edgar Allan Guzman, Cai Cortez and Beauty.

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla Topbill She's Dating the Gangster Movie

Posted on January 28, 2014 | 7:13 PM

Fresh from the success of MMFF 2013 entry Pagpag, today's hottest love team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will now star in the upcoming movie adaptation of She's Dating the Gangster, one of the best-selling books of 2013.

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla Topbill She's Dating the Gangster Movie

The bestselling book She’s Dating the Gangster made its debut in media as an online book published in Wattpad. Afterwards, Summit Books published it last March 2013.  The book, which is written by Bianca Bernardino, consistently figured in the bestselling charts. The popularity of the work urged Star Cinema to buy the rights for a movie remake.

In a Candy Mag interview, the author said that she's seeing Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo bringing her characters to life if ever the work will be adapted into a movie. She cited Daniel's "bad boy aura" and Kathryn's vibe similar to the girl protagonist as the reason why they perfectly fit the roles.

She’s Dating the Gangster is the story of Athena Dizon who falls in love with her fake boyfriend Kenji de los Reyes, a gangster and a campus heartthrob.

With the success of movies adapted from best-selling books such as Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo, Star Cinema is now creating waves with this new project. Aside from She’s Dating the Gangster, the film outfit is also adapting the bestselling Precious Hearts Romances title of all time, Once A Princess to be topbilled by Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales (read more about it here).

The movie adaptation of She's Dating the Gangster will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the director of KathNiel's romantic series Got to Believe. The production team targets filming this March 2014.

Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales Reunite in Movie 'Once A Princess'

The phenomenal team up of Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee returns to the big screen with the movie Once A Princess under Star Cinema. The project is a film adaptation of the the bestselling Precious Hearts Romances title of all time.

Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales Reunite in Movie 'Once A Princess'

After the success of Bakit Hindi Ka Cruzh ng Crush Mo at the box office, Star Cinema once again ventures in a story from a famous book, this time by Angel Bautista.

Once A Princess is about a girl named Erin Almeda, one of the elite princesses of Gibbons International School – beautiful, famous and popular. One day, she played with the innocent heart of the class geek Leonard Jamieson. Seven years later, the paths of Erin and Leonard crossed but it seemed that their roles had been reversed.

The movie will be Enchong and Erich's reunion movie after their love team hit the big screen for the first time in 2010's I Do. They, however, have teamed up in several teleseryes like Magkaribal, Maria la del Barrio and Katorse, which launched their love team.

Once A Princess will be helmed by acclaimed director Laurice Guillen (Tanging Yaman). It is expected to be released this March 2014.

This will surely excite Enchong and Erich fans. Are you ready for EnRich 2.0?

The said figure was announced by the movie's lead star Kim Chiu who posted the above photo on her official Instagram account Friday.

"Maraming, maraming salamat po! Sobra! Thank you Papa God! Thank you sa lahat ng nanood. Sa lahat ng nakitawa and nakiyak sa amin, maraming, maraming, maraming salamat po," she said in the image's caption.

Bride For Rent has such an impressive run in cinemas, raking over P100 million in just 4 days. The movie is the most successful Star Cinema movie released in January after the Metro Manila Film Festival. It is now the highest-grossing KimXi movie, beating last year's Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo which took over two weeks to earn P100 million.
