10th USTv Students' Choice Awards 2014 Winners Announced

ABS-CBN is big winner in the 10th USTv Students' Choice Awards 2014 held at the University of Santo Tomas Thursday night. ABS-CBN bagged the Students' Choice of TV Network award.

10th USTv Students' Choice Awards 2014 Winners

ABS-CBN programs like TV Patrol, Kris TV, It’s Showtime, Be Careful With My Heart, Sports Unlimited, The Bottomline, The Voice of the Philippines, and Rooftop Prince were also recognized.

This year, the USTv cut down the number of awards to focus only on television shows, initiatives, and personalities in line with it's theme "Makabuluhang telebisyon, hinuhubog ng kabataan ngayon," which strengthens UST’s call for responsible television content.

National TV Ratings (March 8): Kapamilya Gold Gains Momentum; Beats GMA Afternoon Shows

ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold reigned in the afternoon according to the March 8 TV ratings data from Kantar Media/TNS.

Shows like May Isang Pangarap, PHR Paraiso, Pinoy True Stories and Rooftop Prince were all winners in their respective timeslots.

Meanwhile, Juan Dela Cruz is still the most-watched program nationwide followed by Ina Kapatid Anak. Epic serye Indio is GMA-7's only saving grace in primetime ranking 4th in primetime. Temptation of Wife ratings dropped low, probably the reason why it will end in three weeks time.

Kantar Media (January 22) TV Ratings: Ina Kapatid Anak is the New Phenomenon

ABS-CBN primetime series Ina Kapatid Anak consistently topped nationwide TV viewing since the start of its 'Book 2' and on January 22, the Kim Chiu-Maja Salvador starrer garnered 35.6% TV rating according to Kantar Media.

Be Careful With My Heart is the number 1 in noontime while Koreanovela Rooftop Prince led the afternoon race. May Isang Pangarap and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw again beat their rival programs, Yesterday's Bride and Temptation of Wife.

After making you fall in love as Lee Sun Joon in “Secret Love: Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” Korean heartthrob Park Yoochun returns this 2013 as the handsome 17th century Prince Lee Gak who travels to the future to solve a royal crime in ABS-CBN’s newest afternoon Asianovela offering, “Rooftop Prince,” premiering this Monday (January 7).

Watch certified Korean heartthrob Yoochun as a prince from the Joseon era who travels to Seoul 2012 with his entourage to investigate the death of the girl he loves. They will suddenly find themselves in a rooftop which happens to be the home of average girl Park Ha.

As Lee Gak adapts to modern life, he will meet Sena who looks exactly like the one he loves. In order to rekindle the love they have started way back in the past, Lee Gak must assume the persona of his reincarnated self— Terrence Yong.

Rooftop Prince Premieres January 7, ABS-CBN Full Trailer Released

Korea's most-loved series of 2012, Rooftop Prince will premiere this January 7 on ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold. The said fantasy romantic comedy television drama stars Park Yuchun (Secret Love Sungkyunkwan Scandal), Han Ji-min, Jeong Yu-mi, Lee Tae-sung, Lee Min-ho (not the star of City Hunter), Jung Suk-won and Choi Woo-shik.

Rooftop Prince premieres January 7 on ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold

Originally aired this year in Korea's SBS channel from March 14 to May 24, Rooftop Prince (also known as Attic Prince) will be the first Asianovela offering of the Kapamilya network in 2013.

When Crown Prince Lee Gak is transported 300 years into the future to present day Seoul along with his three retainers, they believe that it is their duty to solve the murder case of the Crown Princess in order to return to Joseon.

They land in the rooftop apartment of Park Ha, a cheerful woman in her mid-20s, who eventually believes the odd quartet's predicament and becomes their guardian.

As Park Ha educates the four on life in the 21st century, Lee Gak comes across Hong Se Na, who seems to be the reincarnation of his wife.

Taking on the identity of Yong Tae Yong, Lee Gak slowly begins to unravel the murder of Yong Tae Yong and in turn moves closer to solving the murder case of the Crown Princess.

As he finds himself in love with Park Ha, he figures that maybe the Crown Princess was not so perfect after all.
