Two of the country’s “box-office divas” from rival TV networks—Kapamilya Comedy Queen AiAi delas Alas and Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera—will join forces in this year’s funniest epic comedy-adventure film titled “Kung Fu Divas,” which will hit cinemas nationwide on October 2 (Wednesday).

Kung Fu Divas Starring Ai Ai Delas Alas and Marian Rivera Opens October 2

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Star Cinema continues its two-decade tradition of sharing stories of pure laughter and entertainment to the Filipino audience by teaming up with co-producers Reality Entertainment and O & Co. Picture Factory to produce a world-class Onat Diaz masterpiece.

Happy din ako dahil nakasama for the first time ang isa sa mga reyna ng GMA,” said AiAi.

Like AiAi, Marian takes pride in being part of “Kung Fu Divas.” In fact, she applauded upon learning about their milestone movie.

Aside from their newfound friendship, “Kung Fu Divas” was close to the heart of AiAi and Marian because of its top caliber concept and execution.

“Kung Fu Divas” is a story about two bitter rivals in “Hiyas ng Dalampasigan” beauty pageant namely Charlotte (AiAi) and Samantha (Marian), who will be forced to become allies after an unexpected turn of events that put the lives of many in danger.

Can you set aside rivalry and sacrifice your own life for ‘world peace?’

Joining AiAi and Marian in “Kung Fu Divas” are Roderick Paulate, Edward Mendez, Bianca Manalo, Precious Lara Quigaman, Nova Villa and Gloria Diaz.

Don’t miss the world-class special effects, lessons, and the new flavor of comedy from the fresh dynamic duo of AiAi and Marian in the epic comedy-adventure film “Kung Fu Divas” showing on cinemas all over the country on October 2, 2013.
