Pokwang Topbills Wansapanataym Christmas Special (November 30)

Comedienne Pokwang will teach the whole family the value of giving this Saturday (November 30) in “Wansapanataym Christmas Special.” Pokwang will portray the role of a greedy toy store owner Queenie in the episode titled ‘Give Glove on Christmas Day.’

When Quennie decided to adopt three kids for the kid-friendly image of her business, a pair of magical gloves becomes attached to Queenie’s hands and forces her to give away everything she has.

Will Queenie finally learn that there are far more important things than money when she loses everything she owns? 

Together with Pokwang in the ‘Give Glove on Christmas Day’ episode are Gina Pareño, Louise Abuel, Belle Mariano, Brenna Garcia, Nina Dolino, and Lloyd Zaragoza. It is written by Joel Mercado and directed by Erick Salud.

Galema: Anak ni Zuma Pilot Episode Wins Nationwide; Beats Pyra: Babaeng Apoy

ABS-CBN’s newest afternoon fantasy series “Galema: Anak ni Zuma” charmed TV viewers when it premiered last Monday (September 30) with a 16.6% national TV rating, according to the latest data of Kantar Media.

The new series topbilled by Andi Eigenmann and directed by ‘Master Storyteller’ and box-office director Wenn V. Deramas beat GMA 7′s ““Pyra Babaeng Apoy,” which only rated 8.3%.

“Galema: Anak ni Zuma,” which is based on the longest-running Pinoy comic book series written by Jim Fernandez, is a special offering of ABS-CBN–the true home of hit Pinoy classics–to afternoon TV viewers as part of the grand celebration of 60 years of Philippine television and the continuing tradition of sharing well-loved komiks tales that widened the imagination and reflected the true Filipino culture.

How can the good-hearted Galema live a normal life with twin snakes attached to her neck? Will the curse that she inherited from her beastly father, Zuma alienate her even more from her family?

New Kapamilya actress Meg Imperial will star in the upcoming “MMK” episode this Saturday (August 10). Meg will play the role of Brenda, a hardworking lady who grew up with a lot of insecurities.

'Minute to Win It' Junior Edition Caters to Kids and Teens 9-15 Years Old

Pinoy kids now have a shot at winning big and exciting prizes in ABS-CBN’s top-rating game show “Minute to Win It” as it launches its much-anticipated Junior Edition this Monday (April 29).

“Junior Minute to Win It” will cater to kids and teens 9 to 15 years old and will feature brand new, thrilling challenges they will surely enjoy this summer.

Join in the fun in the preliminary battle where two kids or two pairs of kids will face off and outdo each other in five challenges in the 60-second circle to accumulate points. Whoever completes each challenge first gets to win toys, gadgets, and trips to different kiddie destinations in the world.

The kid or pair that gets the most points in the end will bag P75,000 and will get the chance to play in the ultimate challenge with the top prize of P500,000.

Thousands of kids have joined the auditions held in ABS-CBN and in other parts of the country for this kiddie edition. On Monday’s premiere, child wonders Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat will battle with Bugoy Cariño and Brenna Garcia.

“Junior Minute to Win It” will run for six weeks until early June. “Junior Minute to Win It” is the first edition for kids that has been launched in the history of the TV game show franchise.

More viewers continue to tune to “Minute to Win It” as it recorded a national TV rating of 19.4%, based on data from Kantar Media last Monday (April 22). It rated almost 13 points higher than rival program “Unexpected You” of GMA that only registered 5.6%.

MMK August 25 Episode Features a Little Girl's Pure Love for Her Family

Maalaala Mo Kaya features a heartwarming tale of a little girl’s unconditional love for her family and friends in a heavy family drama episode this Saturday (August 25) directed by highly acclaimed director of the top-rating primetime TV series “Princess and I,” direk Dado Lumibao.


In the story, Apple (Brenna Garcia) was most of the time scolded by her mom Jossie (Assunta de Rossi) for always giving more time with Church activities rather than her studies. Despite the strictness of her mother, Apple remained a very thoughtful kid to her family and a caring friend to her fellow kids. What will happen when one day the loving little girl dies?

Aside from Assunta and Brenna, the “MMK” episode will also star Dominic Ochoa, John Manalo, Nikki Bagaporro, Mikylla Ramirez, Elijah Magundayao, Shane Hermogenes, Phoebi Arbotante, Elise Joson, and Noel Colet. It was researched by Akeem Jordan del Rosario and written by Joan Habana.
